Note:
Service dogs are important to those people with disabilities. The key word is disability. Service dog serves the disabled.

Therapy dogs work with a health-care professional as part of a treatment plan. Dogs that do visitation are also commonly called "therapy dogs".

Sometimes people get these 2 confused. I included this in this post just incase someone reading this is wondering what is the difference between and therapy and service dog.
