BOTH my girls have done that especially when they get excited....I gently close off the nostrils - I kind of lightly tap my fingers over their little nose holes...so I'm not shutting off breathing totally....but it seems to really help -
You want her to take a breath thru her mouth to stop that snorting....it IS awful and I freaked the first time Chanel did it ...thought she was hyperventilating....then I AMOST did in a panic lol - but you can stop it....
Another trick is distract them quickly - I usually RUN out to my backyard and they race behind me - for some reason they will stop this way too. |
