I had an Irish Setter who "gave birth" to a kitten. After she went through a heat cycle she decided to nurse the kitten I had adopted from the animal shelter. Even though this kitten was weaned, Mandy convinced the little one that she needed to nurse. The kitten nursed and Mandy cleaned her and would carry her around in her mouth.
that one really left me scratching my head....
