I agree with the others on waiting to see if they come out on their own. Gage had double canines on the top only. When I took him in for his "manhood stripping" pre-appointment, I asked the vet if he could remove them and asked how much more it would be. Guess it's the advantage of being in a small town (or that my vet and I went to high school together) but there was no extra charge. He said "we'll have him under anesthesia anyway, so we'll go ahead and pull them". As luck would have it, when I took him back in the next day for the procedure, he had lost the teeth overnight. |
