My 3 year old Yorkie has been totally healthy since I got him at 9 weeks old. Lately he seems to have acid reflux. He will be sleeping and all of a sudden he jumps up and kinda gags-not like vomiting, but not choked either. Just like liquid coming up in his throat. He often then gets choked afterwards-like whatever came up went back down in his windpipe. I have explored collapsed trachea but the symptoms don't fit. Activity does not bring it on.
Anyone have this problem???
