 The eternal puppy
Here is Spike our sweet little late bloomer. He is 6 months old and just lost his first tooth (no sign of adult teeth), has not lost a bit of his very hard to comb puppy fur and shows no signs of ever being housebroken. We thought he was going to be about 5-6 lbs but he's holding steady a 3 lbs so far. He just doesn't want to grow up. He's the sweetest little guy and we love him to pieces but I have to say I wouldn't mind if he matured a little- maybe a little less peeing? I'm hoping he's going to gain a few more pounds too. It's funny how different they all are. He's nothing like our 2 year old, Gracie although she did get quite a bit bigger after 6 months. Any other late bloomers out there? |
