You might have already tried this but if not then check out the Durable Nylabones. Gracie is a huge chewer and we go through toys FAST but Nylabones really hold up and she loves them.
When we were in puppy school the trainer told us a funny story. One of her previous students was starting to chew the baseboards in the bathroom. Her owner sprayed them down with Bitter Apple. Unfortunately it turned out the dog LOVED the taste of bitter apple. When she came home from work, well- you can imagine the state her baseboards (and cabinet bases) were in. Having said that- you could always try bitter apple since really, most dogs do hate the taste. |
