Max seemed really irritated when I brought Abbie home because he had been "king" for an entire year and now there was this other "thing" that was in
his space. It took at least a month for him to warm up to Abbie. It did seem like they were fighting but I convinced myself that they were playing and I made sure that I showed Max tons of attention so that he didn't feel neglected now that a new puppy was in the house. Now they are
so attached to each other. Maybe they just need some time to get to know each other
