If he is not getting a good latch, check his palate...it is not cleft is it? We had a runt in a Boston Terrier litter and that was what was wrong...he would nurse and nurse and the others were growing by leaps and bounds...he was not...he got weak...we took him in to the vet and lo and behold, the roof is his mouth was wide open.n Good luck...hope everything works out for your little guy. |
