Holy smokes folks... step back. She may not be making the wisest decision in some of our opinions, but it's her choice nonetheless and who are we to judge? She asked for help and most people have done nothing but rip her apart and jump her shi_ for her decision and/or way of thinking.

I've seen very few resolutions. The way I see it she can try a behavioral trainer and/or give it some more time, or rehome the puppy, which is probably in his best interest. Reality is, the decision has already been made, so instead of criticizing can we offer her some help and solutions?

MARYKAY48 - it seems the you are stressed and overwhelmed. I believe that rehoming your guy, not matter how much you love him is probably in his best interest. Maybe find a home where he will be an only dog or make sure the home has a dog at least his size. I'm so very sorry that you've had to come a place wherein you have to make a decision like this. Best of luck in whatever you decide to do.
