I beleive it is definitely better to have more than one, regardless of breed... My Tootie was the 4th added to an already mixed up brood(chi mix, boston terr, Y lab)... They all love one another and it is so much easier to leave them during the day because they have each other, and Animal Planet, for company.... I dont like them to be lonely
