As for the crates, I have crates for all. The doors are only closed at night. Mine will go in & out of their crates all day. They know that it's their special place. We all need a refuge from the crazy world.  |
Hi Jan, I agree..... I too am a hobby breeder and have always encouraged people into my home to see them and to meet their family as well as them seeing where my dogs live and how I take care of them. I can't imagin saying,' Oh... these are pictures of my home..... pictures of mom and dad.... so let's meet at the Mc Donald's parking lot and I will show you the pup.'! Can you imagine! I tell people looking for pups to always see the home and what condition it is in.
It is really hard isn't it. But I have so far been lucky but I also run a very tight screening process over the phone first.
