I cried when we dropped off Punkin and when we picked her up. I was a wreck. I felt horrible. We got her a onsie (the clerk at Walmart thought I was nuts!). The onsie was great - although she had a couple of accidents so
more than one was necessary. Her second day home she was almost back to normal. The third day home she was getting in to stuff and running around. The worst part was no bath for 2 weeks (until the stitches came out).
I was upset at the stitches - it looked like there was going to be a huge scar. It's been 7 weeks ( I think) and you can barely see where there is even a mark of where the stiches are.
It's hard at first - but you did the right thing.
