When Dudley and Dinkey were babies I had purchased the plush stuffed heart beat doggie. It has a little battery operated box in it that is supposed to sound like their Moms heartbeat. It worked wonders!!!! No crying at night, content in there kennel. Have any of you tried that? I feel sorry for your furbabies. They only want their Mommy for a short time and then they are off to the races, playing all over the house. They will grow out of this stage and you will miss it..............mine did!! BUT, the stuffed heartbeat puppy worked great at night and when I had to be gone. I bought mine online for about $20.00 I think????? It's been over 4 years, so I might have the price wrong. Hang in there............
