My yorkie loves the snow so she asks to go out in it. I usually stand at the back door and watch her. She races around the yard and digs the snow and rolls in the snow. It is great fun watching her. My kids like the snow so I let them go out and throw balls for her to chase. She gets about the same excersise in the winter as in the summer.
