Back when Mayzie was 11-12 weeks I had bought a sweater off of ebay. It had long sleeves that I had to roll up. I put it on her and I was heartbroken because she fought to get the heck out of it and I felt like I was a meanie. I figured it was too bulky and I would get something else or try again when when was older. She is now almost 17 weeks and she will wear the sweater. I have since gotten a sweatshirt and a tee shirt (from Rena)and she actually gets excited when she sees them. At first I would put them on her, make a big deal and then get her engaged in play of some sort. I would have her wear the shirt for a few minutes and then I would just take it off. She wears them uncontested now. The tee and sweatshirt were practically a non issue. I just think the sweater was too bulky. I am thrilled that she wears them happily because my first yorkie would not! I can't wait to do some more shopping!
