i read all sorts of sob stories on craigslist and personally they all read like a scam. some of them are actually really rude... like they have all these requirements like, must be a tiny, must be a puppy < 12 weeks old, must be purebred, must be akc registered, and anything less is unacceptable. i guess beggers can be choosers eh? in those cases, those people don't need a yorkie, they need a life.

we all know how much time and effort is necessary to train and maintain a small puppy. given the time, effort, and money necessary to raise a puppy, if the man has an injuried child at home, the last thing he should be concerned with is finding an expensive puppy to appease his daughter. the child would be better served with his finances dedicated to her care and a stuffed animal to keep her company. the parent should be responsible enough to recognize his priorities, and BE THE PARENT!
