The company was started by a woman (Kate Winther) who had the idea that she wanted to invent a dog shampoo with scent - back in '59 dogs were washed in brown soap at the groomers and she wanted to change that.
To make the Danish press discover her, she colored her 2 white king poodles light blue with wool tablets (non toxic), dressed herself in light blue and took the dogs to the race track which was back then the place to be seen for the rich and famous.
The press noticed her - and her dogs - and her company grew steadily until 1972 where they expanded to producing and selling to other retailers
She was a woman after my heart and I am proud to use her products
