Wow, I was thinking of making almost the same thread... I have long hair too, last I measured it was about 38.5 inches. My puppy always seems to find and eat them! Earlier today he was coughing, and I pulled a long one out of his mouth (and maybe out of his throat, too!). The other day he had a little poop problem... the hair was still half inside him and he was dragging poop around by it!
It was bad, he was upset, and not happy when I helped him out with that.
It can't be too good for them, and I try not to lose hair in the first place... but even one hair on the floor seems to end up in his mouth.
