Well for the snake guard I am not familiar with, but I would not take chances if you think they might come across a snake. Remember these little oneare terriers and they will investigate and attack any moving creature. This is just their nature and next thing you know you're little one is pawing and barking trying to attack the snake, it ends up bitten and dead. Use you're best judgement and do what you feel is best and in the best interest of you're babies. I am sure you love them alot.
