This happened when I got Brownie, she followed me everywhere and I had a special bond with her that we still share, but now, since she's older and a little more independant, she doesn't do this anymore, especially when she knows I'm in the house.
I think it's cute that she wants to be with you everywhere, because you'll regret the day when she stops doing it and you want some loving.
