generally, your yorkie should not feel sick at all eating human food, but check out the thread on Toxic food and plants so you know what to avoid and to be sure he is safe all the time.

Be careful, if they have a habit of eating too much human food, they tend to be quite picky and might not enjoy their boring kibbles.
