You should pluck the hair from the ear canal with tweezers. The hair in the ear canal will trap bacteria, and that causes ear infections. You don't have to pluck ALL the hair from the inside of their ears, just the hair in the ear canal. Then we get q-tips dipped in alcohol and swipe it around in there to clean out all the dirt. Hobbs LOVES that part!! We do this about once a month. Otherwise, he will start growing ponytails out of those ears!
