Both dogs were at the window. I cried when I got in and let them kiss me all over since I was so upset and thought they might be gone. They seemed fine but so happy to see me. I'm sure it was a stressful day. Both dogs are "guard dogs" - they wouldn't bit but were frightened by the 12 men at our house and in the yard. Poor dogs...
The company did feel pretty bad about it. I did tell him I didn't have a chance to even look at the new roof. My only focus was on the dogs.
