 Why does my yorkie have bald spots?
About 6 months ago my 2 yr. old, 2 lb. yorkie developed a bald spot on her left shoulder, the hair has not grown back. I took her to the vet, and they cannot find out the reason. There is no sign of a rash, or a tumor or cysts under the skin. The ringworm test came back negative.
Now I just found the same type of spot on the other side, but a little higher on the body. It is the same size.
These are not coming from any vaccinations, not even rabies.
What can possibly be causing this to happen?
She does shed a lot when I comb her, and I find hair on the carpet quite often.
Any suggesstions would be greatly appreciated..
