My little SaSHA was attacked by a neighbors Golden retriever! I was at my daughters house putting up curtains- someone left the front door open and little Sasha ran across the street. Neighbor had left her male and female out - not tied and no fence. Ten minuites earlier< I had just heard from another neighbor that this female golden got mean to other females-when the dogs were out together roaming the neighborhood.
I saw little Sasha from the window run across the street- barking(now these dogs already knew Sasha) I ran screaming and yelling out the door after her- the female had her in her mouth and shaking my little one-when she saw me comming and screaming-she dropped Sasha and Sasha ran back to our house. What a trauma!
It ended with Sasha only being brused - very sore and sad for the next 2 weeks. I am so lucky, I cannot believe she lived through this- and have learned my lesson- not to trust even the nicest looking dogs.
Lesson Learned!
