So how about listing 10 memorable concerts you've seen live. Here's mine:
1. Tower of Power and Santana at Winterland in San Francisco, my first concert, high school junior.
2. Allman Brothers and Marshall Tucker, Oakland Coliseum.
3. Led Zeppelin, outdoors in S.F. somewhere.
4. Elton John, Oakland.
5. Fleetwood Mac, San Jose
6. George Harrison/Ravi Shankar, Oakland
7. Edgar Winter, Oakland
8. Peter Frampton, Oakland, outdoors
9. Yes
10. Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Ha, you wouldn't know I've been a country fan for the last 30 years. |
I don't have that many memorable ones...but here's a few
1. U2 in Chicago at the Aragon Theatre ( I was standing right in front of them and touched Bono's boot...I love him! )
2. Melissa Etheridge concert in Chicago. (We had mediocre first row balcony
seats when during the concert, the lights went out and when they came
up, a Stage had risen in the middle of the theatre with Melissa on it right
in front of us...the whole back of the theatre went nuts...screaming...
both girls and guys were fainting right and left...literally...it was SO FUN!
(Well, not the fainting but you get my drift)
3. Tracy Chapman at the House of Blues in Chicago...she is just so cool...
