I work in Private elderly care, my mom and I own a home based business where we have 2 rooms to take care of the elderly in my moms home. Right now we have 1 lady who has Altzhmiers, we just lost the other lady we cared for last Thursday, she was 87 yrd old.
I love doing what I do and if we can help keep 2 people out of the nursing home then it's all worth it. The familes just are so happy, the one lady we have now used to be in the NH and she was so sad all the time, she slept most of her day away, but now she is like a different person, we roll her hair up and put makeup on her, do her finger nails and she is just so happy now. Seeing them happy is so worth it!  |
Wow, what a very rewarding job you have. I'm a stay at home mom/student. I use to work as a rater/coder in the ins. industry. Boring. I still have some good friends that work in insurance.
