My dog bit her causing scrapes and bruising on my wifes hand. Although there was no torn flesh, I believe there would have been had she not been wearing the gloves. I was always taught that a dog that bites should be put to sleep. Should this dog be put down? Is this behavior just her breed? I am very conflicted over the two personalities this dog is showing. Does anyone have an opinion? Thanks.

No I definitely would not have her put to sleep. I would take her to the vet and see if maybe there is something medically wrong with her and then I would enroll her in som training classes to see if you can get it under control.

I've had 4 yorkies and none of them ever had this type of agression. Have you had her since she was a puppy or was she a rescue?

Good luck and please keep us posted.
