We had a time with one of our first yorkies at that age and nothing seemed to help. I got so tired of trying to keep he coat free of tangles and shaved her.
Oh she looked so bad for about 6 months but i must say it was heaven not to fight with those matts.
When she got older her coat changed and became much less of a tangle bug.
We Love her silly little self.
