I have heard that Yorkies can change colors for several years before their coat color is final. Oscar is 18 months old and is still getting silver in his black back coat. I did see a major change in him at 6 months. I guess it is different with each dog but they do seem to change for a long time...at least mine is! No matter what color they are...If Oscar was purple with pink polka dots I would still love him!
