One thing we just gotta learn...trust the boy to decide when the female is ready is NOT doing AI. One of my studs was lent for studding and the slide the vet did said female was ready! I could not get a tie with them here so I allowed him to go visit his new girlfriend. The tests were done on a Wed., the try was on Sunday, AI tried on Mon and Tues. Wed, he knew and did the job himself. I mean we sweated bullets. Then just to show off he tied again all by himself on a Friday..
Had a female here tonight that should have been sooooooooo ready..NOT! Didn't flag, position herself or the usual things. I let my boy go home and we will see what he does and when he does it. They do have a way of making total sillies out of us.. |
