Know how you feel I know how you feel and it hurts. My husband just returned from 18 month deployment in Iraq.....It was the longest 18 mos in my life. I can not explain how good it feels to have him in my arms....I've heard it all.....you just have to learn how to ignore them. His deployment will make your relationship stronger.....trust me....I will be praying for you and your family. If you ever need anything, I am here.......just send me a pm. It is still very traumatic for us to deal with....I am a proud army wife....he is my soldier and my hero........
Before he left I sent him with a poem to keep close to his heart:
MY SOLDIER MY HERO
You are my solider
So proud and so true
You honor thy country
For that I love you
You are my soldier
Behind you I stand
You volunteer your life
I'm so proud of my man
Your are my soldier
wherever you my be
When your gone with your comrades
I know you'll still think of me
You are my soilder
Though times I get blue
Please know that I'll always be here waiting for you
God Bless you...Keep your chin up! You will be in my thoughts and prayers!
