Nearly 17 years of my life with my best friend. My companion. My purpose for many years.

What a hell of a ride and a life he lived. I loved every adventure, every walk, every snack, every nap, every vacation, every obnoxious bark, and every bit of chaos.

Jackson’s presence was a big one and I am already severely missing it. You did so good buddy. A little food mongrel until the end. No better way to go out than eating chicken and hot dogs until you peacefully laid your head down to nap.
I love you Jackson with all my heart and will miss you forever my little dude. Thank you for being my best friend. Life will never be the same without you but you certainly shaped mine in the best way.

It felt weird to not make a post on YorkieTalk --- the very place I posted my announcement all those years ago about bringing home a little 9 week old bundle of energy. I was 18 years old and honestly had NO idea what I was doing, but I went full force into dog mom mode and embraced every second of it. I miss him so much, my heart is still so heavy, but I have made peace with the fact that he lived an AMAZINGLY full life. More than a lot of humans get to do. And I wouldn't have changed a thing.
