i keep the door to the bathroom closed. keep dirty socks in the hamper. keep clean socks in a closed drawer. keep sandals elevated on a shoe rack. oh and bitter apple spray bottoms of cabinets, doors, and baseboards.
as for peeing in his crate. how old is he and how long do you keep him in the crate? young ones need to go often and can't be crated for too long. try taking him out of the crate for potty often. even when they're older, because they're small, they have small bladders and need to go often. i never keep my 6 month old crated for more than 1 hour at a time, unless it's at night and he's sleeping, then he can be crated for up to 6 hours before he makes noise to be let out for potty.
