Default Thank you!

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been so helpful to me during the process of acquiring a puppy for my daughter's 21st birthday. A special thank you goes to: txshopper73, Dolomite's Mom, Kathryn_V, Esme's Mommy, yorkiepower, Sylvan, SoCalyorkieLvr, lilbumbleybees, luvdorkyyorkies, SnowWas, Bloomingtails, fourdez, Yorkiehousetn and 3crazy Yorkies, all of whom took the time to answer my private messages. I got information regarding breeders, desired size of puppies, male or female?, crate, x-pen size and containment, puppy deposits, wee wee pads, NYC veterinarians, Solid Gold dog food, vaccinations and more. For my other million and one questions, I used the search query. And so, thank you to all those that have made this site such a remarkable source of information.

My daughter's puppy, Paddington, was adopted from a wonderful breeder last Thursday. In part, I think I knew what to look for because of all the posts I read on-line about the difference between a responsible breeder and an unscrupulous one. When we went to our vet, I had specific questions about vaccinating a toy breed. Again, because of all that I had learned from the YorkieTalk site. From the "things to buy" discussions, I knew what to purchase before the puppy came home--especially important was the Nutrical which was used when the puppy didn't eat or drink much the first day.

It gives us a great sense of security to know that help, advice, wisdom, and experience is available, not only from our breeder, but also from all of you who are a part of YorkieTalk. I look forward to years of interesting discussions about this wonderful breed.
