Hi,

My male almost 3 yr old yorkie (Bear) has started to go after me.
My husband is home with him all day and he spoils him to the point that he no longer tolerates my presence lol. He attacks me at night when we go to bed or if I hug my husband or sometimes when I walk into the same room as my husband. On the flip side of that he also attacks me when i try to leave the house. He lunges and bites. I have always had a fear of dogs. I've have had some bad childhood experiences. I have had small poodles before and thought if I had another small dog all would be fine. My boy loves other dogs and loves everyone else. My husband has started using a squirt bottle and a firm voice. He does back down but we don't know where to start in actually training him not to go for me. I should also add he has recently become extremely stubborn. Only doing commands for treats and ignoring us if we don't have a treat in hand. Things like that. We have small grand kids and I no longer trust him around them. Any thoughts or solutions would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.
