How old is your dog? How long have you had him? If he is a new pup in your home, has he been to a vet? Part of having him seen would be getting baseline blood work done to be sure he is not ill.
What foods have you tried? $50/bag sounds a bit high for a small dog....is he a yorkie? Some of the larger companies refund if a dog won't eat the food.
Your husband says the food is bland and disgusting? Based on what? Surely he didn't sample it.
