i agree that your bf needs to show your yorkie who's boss. your yorkie sees your bf as invading the hierarchy of your pack. my yorkie did that with my husband in the beginning too. but we took care of it quickly so it's not a habit. when bunjee growled at hubby, hubby growled back. it was the funniest thing. we didn't use any physical correction methods, it was just based on tone of voice.
as for the pottying. is he outdoor trained? or indoor trained in a litter box or on a potty pad. if he's having accidents in the house now, confining him to a smaller area is a must. crating him or using a belly band on him while you're out could help as well. using a belly band on him while you're home can also help to save your floors/carpet from repeat messes. remember to clean the accidents with an enzyme cleaner like nature's miracle so he wouldn't sniff and think to pee in the same spot again in the house. and if you're going to reprimand him with a light tap on the nose, you really need to catch him in the act.
