I got my new puppy from the same breeder I got my Maggie from over 14 years ago. Maggie passed away in April. My new puppy, Bridget, was born in April. I had kept in contact with the breeder from time to time, and after Maggie passed we were in contact quite a bit. She had one little female yorkie pup and I quickly put a deposit on her. It was a 6 hour drive each way to go pick her up, but well worth it. Is she a high dollar big profile breeder? No, I don't think so. But she has been a breeder for many years. I feel comfortable with her and still have been in communication with her. I am not sure if/how this helps you, but keep searching. Those online pet brokers charge a lot. I think they are almost double the price of what the breeder charges directly. I know my breeder has some puppies on puppies.com, or her direct website is https://www.lovealotkennels.com.
