I didn't have a problem with my yorkie eating in the beginning. I was given puppy instructions: Your puppy will be nervous for a few days and might have to be hand fed. Make sure your baby eats.
1 can of evaporated milk and 1 can of water mixed together
1 bowl of milk and Gerber rice cereal, until lightly thickened. Refrigerate the rest of milk for future use. If milk is cold, warm in microwave for 20 seconds, just to take the chill off.
Put a bowl of dry food in pen also.
Your baby will also eat some cottage cheese. If you change dog food, it could cause diarrhea. So change gradually. If they do have the runs, give them 3 -4 drops of Imodium or Kaopectate. |
