When I had my girls when ever I went out shopping I would buy each one a toy or a chewy. I taught them how to go through the bags until they found their things. That opened a bag of worms, big mistake because there were times I came home from work with WORK in a bag and toss it on the sofa, work I would do from my home computer. All 3 tore the bag apart and ran off with my floppy disk. When I adopted this kid I never allowed him to snoop in bags, also don't buy him toys or chews every time I go shopping. I have 2 bags of new toys hidden in a closed off room. If I do buy a new toy I never give it to him as soon as I come home. He's spoiled enough, you do one thing ONCE and they never forget, they expect it lol.
