Price really depends on the area you live in. Scaling your dogs teeth at home is a dangerous and horrible idea. You can not polish the teeth afterwards and the groves in the teeth will leave areas for bacteria to grow. You also can not get under the gum line and if you do it will hurt! Dental X-rays are also necessary which should be done during a dental so you can find issues that are not visible like bone loss and abscesses. If your dog needs teeth pulled you obviously can not do it yourself. It’s much better for your dog to have a full dental done at the Vet.
