im 22. work "long hours" [40 hrs/wk]. Have a bf who was pretty much jealous of sirius. i go out on weekends. i have a life. i plan on getting married. i plan on having children...and i really consider myself a great pet owner. i know i may not be the standard, but im certainly not the exception. there are lots of younger pet owners who are great care givers and regardless of how many hours they work, [i always make time for Sirius.] he is always my priority. i dont go out on the weekends unless i know he is going to have a sitter. id like to think im responsible. please dont rule the younger girl on the basis of her age. i know people consider those in our 20's to be flighty and irresponsible, but we are not all like that. just because she may get married or have children doesnt make her a bad candidate. just really go with your gut instinct. im not taking this as an attack on us young ones, so no worries! it just would make sad to think that i may not have gotten Siri because i was too young or planned on having children in the future or because i have a job lol. just go with who you think is going to give your baby the best life, bottom line. sorry for the rant...
