Evey thing is in baby steps when bringing home a new puppy. Today was a break through, baby steps. As each day goes by Teddy sees "this thing is here to stay", Teddy determines when he's ready to interact. Two months for my girls was a long time, but this new puppy was a WILD CHILD zooming faster than a speeding bullet, and always playfully nippy them when they got off the sofa. When I had one she was 3 years old and bought the 2nd one home, it took the 3 yo a month to interact with the new kid, but that one was not as wild as the 3rd baby lol.
