I am 21...a college student... and am a new yorkie owner. i was picked out of several ppl who were interested in my poopsie, b/c the breeder said i sounded more sincere than the other ones... and she thought i would take the best care of her. i don't think it's fair to say that the "young girl" wouldn't be a good yorkie mama just b/c she's young. she may have a job, but she has ALL of the other time in her life to devote towards her pup. the other lady has her other yorkie, kids, and a husband to take care of (which takes more time and energy than a full time job). i don't know who i'd pick, cuz they both sound like good candidates... but i don't think it's fair to rule out the younger one. i consider myself to be a darn good yorkie mama... and i'm sure my poopsie would agree. my boyfriend didn't really know what to think when i got her... but now he's absolutely in LOVE with her. also, someone said not to go with the girl cuz she's never had a yorkie b4. well... b4 any of us ever got a yorkie... we were in the same position as she was. the only person who should make the decision about where the pup should go is the breeder... cuz she has actually talked to both of the ladies... all we know about the situation is what was written in the first thread... which wasn't a whole lot of info...
