One of my yorkies, Rocky, was supposed to be 7 pounds and he is 11!! Sometimes you just never know, he is such a great dog and I am so glad he is this big, he actually has the personality of a lab, he LOVES his ball and toys and loves to run and swim. Haley on the other hand was 2.6 pounds when we got her at 6 months and isnt much bigger, maybe a pound. It is really hard to tell with mixed breeds from what I Have seen but I have noticed that small dogs usually stay smaller and large dogs seem to keep growing, so the double their weight at 3 mos. doesnt work as well
She is already 5 months so she shouldnt be THAT THAT much bigger, but you never know. We got our maltese at 4 months and she was only 1.6 pounds, now she is 4 pounds! I think with all the lovin in our house they just get big which is fine with me because they enjoy playing a lore more
