I'm a new Yorkie mom. I've had a yorkiepoo before. So as Zoie's new mom I've already heard the "sissy" talk and my neighbors call her rat (in love of course) and tell me she's hardly even a dog. Mostly the larger dog lovers can't seem to understand my love and fascination of small dogs. I don't think it really bothers them too much, it just isn't something they understand or are familiar with. I think it's so rude to call them sissy dogs. People should just not say those things at least within earshot out of common courtesy. :-) |
