So true. I miss him every day. The house is not the same without him. Sasha greets me at the door every day when I come home from work but she does it in a quiet way. Tail wagging and she can't wait for me to pick her up so she can go to town licking daddy's face. But Max was the vocal one. I could hear him barking as soon as I got out of the car. I would peek through the door and see him jumping up and down in the kitchen like he was on a pogo stick. I don't think I'll ever get over his loss.
