I walk him unleashed at the park where I can see a long way in all directions. My fear isn't him running away but another dog attacking.

I haven't walked dogs unleashed in the street since my brother killed my golden/irish setter mix as kids (Do I sound bitter or what?) I don't care how well behaved they are, there are some things they are going to chase.
